In its 7th year, Okrapalooza is home to Dallas' one and only okra cook off competition. Founded by the Promise of Peace Community Gardens,
local celebrity chefs compete to showcase their skills in a two hour cooking and tasting event open to the public.
Each Chef will provide an exquisite Okra dish for tasting. We ask each attendee to take their time and slowly enjoy the delectable dishes prepared by each chef.

NEW This year we will have a Children's Nature Play Tent, Artist Tent, and Health Education Tent with local produce and recipes! Children's Tent is sponsored by Texas Discovery Gardens.
Silent Auction items will be available for bidding on. Items included are but not limited to artwork, gift certificates, jewelry, kids camps, and more!
